Feras Jerjis Dip Ac, MBAcC, Traditional Acupuncturist

Feras is a graduate of the Northern College of Acupuncture in York where he gained an interest in Gynaecology after spending most of his clinical placement with Mandy Metcalfe.  He received initial training in Oriental Medicine from Mr Neil Thompson, one of the best established practitioners in the North of England and medical Chi Kung from Dr Bisong Guo over several years.

Feras worked at Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic for a number of years dealing with amateur and professional athletes up to Olympic level, giving him excellent grounding in treating muscular skeletal conditions.  Eventually, his interest in gynaecology lead him to be known for promoting fertility, his success in helping couples have children lead him to study paediatric acupuncture with Julian Scott, thus making him one of only a handful of acupuncturists trained to treat children.   His clinical expertise also includes menopausal conditions and anxiety disorders. In addition, Feras has a particular interest in some Auto Immune Syndromes.

Feras is a long time student of Tai Chi Chuan and a senior instructor with the Taoist Arts Organisation, for whom he holds classes locally.  He is skilled in traditional “Trauma Medicine” and the use of external herbal applications to treat acute and chronic musculo skeletal conditions.  He is also trained in Chi Kung Tui Na (light touch body work technique) under Bruce Frantzis and Taoist Tui Na from Mr Tony Swanson (The head of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts).  He is also an indoor student of Master Ma who leads the HunYuanXingyitaiji, a system that fuses taoist practice from the WuDang and Ermi mountains, it contains both static and dynamic Chi Kung sets as well as breathing patterns and forms.

His commitment towards his development involves attending courses in the UK, Europe and the USA as well as travelling to China and Hong Kong to further his teaching and refine his skills.

Louise is a graduate of the Northern College of Acupuncture in York where she completed a 3 year Post Graduate Diploma in TCM Acupuncture. Very quickly after graduation she began to work with an increasing number of gynecology, fertility, IVF and pregnancy cases and went on to specialise in women’s health. In 2015 she studied for a Diploma with Dr Trevor Wing of The Women’s Natural Health Practice on Harley Street where she expanded on her TCM knowledge along with biomedical research and approaches to treatment. After being awarded a distinction she is now an Associate Practitioner of the Women’s Natural Health Practice.

In addition to women’s health, she also regularly works with patients suffering with headaches and migraines, gastrointestinal dysfunctions, sleep problems and pain and injuries.

Her interest in Eastern medicines arose whilst living in Japan for two years and exploring the Japanese approach to health. Having seen the benefits of a culture using acupuncture, herbs and shiatsu for health preservation, it led to her pursuing a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Medicine) style acupuncture. He also trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick where he trained in Five Element style acupuncture. These styles compliment and inform one another in clinical practice. He then apprenticed with a practitioner who is an expert in mental and emotional health, stress and trauma. This is one of his particular interests.

He also enjoys treating digestive issues such as IBS, muscular skeletal complaints, fertility, migraines, insomnia and anything that presents; as more then anything he enjoys treating the person and his main drive in practice is to improve quality of life. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council you can be assured that Tam adheres to their high standards of care and professional conduct.  Tam also provides support and acupuncture services to cancer patients, carers and staff at the James Cook Hospital in Middlesborough.

Tam has always been around acupuncture from being a child and it has always inspired him. His other interests include martial arts of which he has trained periodically from four years old when he started Karate lessons and since fourteen years particularly in Muay Thai.

Jo trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York completing a BSc (hons) in Acupuncture, she is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and is fully licensed and insured. In addition to using acupuncture for general health, due to her prior training she has a special interest in Facial Enhancement Acupuncture and has found that facial acupuncture combines the best of both worlds, improving the complexion and facial appearance and enhancing that well rested glow from overall better health.

Since 2002 Jo has qualified in several face and body disciplines including Holistic Facials, Indian head massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, hot stones massage, spa therapies, Swedish & advanced body massage, Thai massage, acupressure, Muscle Energy Techniques and soft tissue & fascial release. She has worked for many years in the spa industry in both Australia and the UK.

Having been interested in Holistic Therapies from a young age, Sheenette has worked in this field for over 12 years specialising in Reflexology. After becoming interested in Chinese Acupuncture whilst having treatment for recurrent migraines she decided to enhance knowledge and train in acupuncture herself.

Sheenette is passionate about enhancing quality of life wether it is migraine relief, menopausal symptoms, pain relief, digestive issues, depression, or simply relieving the stress of day to day life. Sheenette treats each patient individually and will use a variety of methods alongside Acupuncture where appropriate including Remedial Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Gua Sha, Cupping and Hopi Ear Candles and Reiki.

Having worked in the Beauty industry for 10 years, Sheenette has also trained in Facial Enhancement Acupuncture, a treatment she has recognised as having immediate skin rejuvenating and stress relieving properties.
