Specialities
Jo trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York completing a BSc (hons) in Acupuncture, she is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and is fully licensed and insured.
In addition to using acupuncture for all aspects of general health, Jo has a particular enthusiasm for treating musculoskeletal pain, injuries and dysfunction with Gua Sha, Sinew Channel Acupuncture and Master Tung Acupuncture. Her most common conditions treated are; low back pain/sciatica, shoulder, arm, hip and knee pain, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis.
Due to her prior training in aromatherapy and spa therapies, Jo also has a special interest in Facial Enhancement Acupuncture and has found that facial acupuncture combines the best of both worlds, improving the complexion and facial appearance, reducing lines and wrinkles, and enhancing that well rested glow from overall better health.
In her spare time Jo enjoys woodland adventures, all types of creative and crafting endeavours and of course, cats.
