Canny Yoga – Yoga Nidra Workshop
Sunday 22nd October 2017

Yoga Nidra is a form of deep and restorative relaxation whereby bringing your attention through guidance to different parts and functions of the body, you allow the mind to enter a state of slower brainwave activity yet retain a quality of quiet alertness. In this state it is said that you can access the subconscious part of the mind where ideas and dreams can take form and root, therefore enabling you to plant seeds for the manifestation of your goals. But that is not all that Yoga Nidra is about. It is not simply a tool that we go to when we need things but it is a continuous practice of learning to live more fully and mindfully, of remembering to rest profoundly. In this session we will begin with a free flowing movement sequence that will allow us to soften and open up the body, as well as release pent up tension and excessive energy before settling very comfortably back on the mat. Once on the mat we will begin the practice by simply observing the stimuli around us and the response of our senses to them. Gradually you will be guided into a conscious sleep which will enable the body to rest deeply and the mind to go past moving in circles, but instead settle in a quiet, content space.Spaces for this workshop are limited to 8-10 people so if you are interested in taking part, please make sure that you book your place early to avoid disappointment.Cost: £15.00For payments, please pay directly at 30-64-34, 17571168.
In case of cancellation, if your space fills up, full refund will be given.
If your space doesn’t fill up, no refund will be given.
