Tai chi has a positive effect on patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc). Turkish researchers randomly divided 28 patients into tai chi or home exercise groups. After ten weeks of training, a statistically significant difference was observed for all measured outcomes in the tai chi group, including endurance, balance, sleep quality, fatigue, anxiety and depression. Tai chi was superior to home exercise for all measured parameters except trunk endurance.
